The Newton County Recreation Commission's Baseball Program is offered to children ages 4 to 14. This program is designed for kids to learn the fundamentals of Baseball and to have fun doing it. We offer spring and fall sessions. Our Baseball Programs are affiliated with The Dixie Youth and Dixie Boys Organizations and we have All-Star Teams at the end of our regular season. These teams will play in a district tournament for the opportunity to advance on to the State Tournament.

All regular season games are played at City Pond Complex, located here in Newton County. Our spring season begins practice in March. Games begin in April and go through June. Fall Baseball practice begins in August and games run from September until the middle of October.

Teams are allowed to practice two times during the week and once on the weekends.
