The Main Street program emphasizes downtown revitalization and historic preservation.

The plant is capable of producing 15 million gallons of water per day and water flows to Covington's water customers through 130 miles of water lines the City maintains. The Water Reclamation Division is comprised of a wastewater treatment plant that can treat up to 5.6 million gallons of wastewater per day; and EPD approved industrial pretreatment program; and a 1,500-acre joint venture land application facility used for final treatment and nutrient removal.
