2013 Football Registration:
June 3rd - July 12th!

The Newton County Recreation Commission's Football Program is offered to ages 5 - 12. This program is designed to teach the fundamentals of Football while still focusing on fun and good sportsmanship. Practice begins in August. Regular season begins in September and ends around the end of October with our annual Bowl Games the first part of November.

Trophies are awarded to 1st & 2nd place teams in each division at the end of the season.

The Recreation Commission provides each participant with a helmet and shoulder pads, a team jersey and 1 pair of socks. (Helmet and shoulder pads to be returned at the end of the season).

Teams are allowed to practice two times during the week and once on the weekends.

Age Control Date: August 1st, 2013

5- 6 year olds - Training League
7-8 year olds - Division I
9-10 year olds - Division II
11-12 year olds - Division III

Registration Information

All participants are required to provide a certified copy of a birth certificate to be enrolled in any program we offer. Once we have obtained a copy, we will keep it on file for future registrations. We also require that you provide proof of residency which would include any one of the following:
  • Current Utility Bill
  • Lease agreement/mortgage statement

Fee Schedule:

Ages 5-6:                   $135
Training League

Ages 7-12                  $150
Divisions 1-3                                

  • $10 Sibling discount available
  • $50 Out of county fee (Must provide proof of Residency)
